Woman wanted to carry a gun to protect herself, but was delayed by "gun control" laws. Looks like the liberal laws provided protection for the criminals once again. Good job libs.

Some fault police, N.J. gun laws in Berlin Twp. killing

When someone's protection depends on a restraining order, you would think that the police could process her application within the mandated 30 day limit. She as killed 43 days after applying for the permit. The sheriff's office broke the law to leave her without protection. Even if they denied the permit, she should have been notified so she could leave town or come up with some other means of defense. If she lived in most any other state, she may still be alive.

As a permit to carry in Nj is more theoretical than reality, she would have waited a looong time.

Too bad the place and occurrence of violent acts in Nj is so predictable, you'd think someone would have come up with a viable solution. NJ needs its legislature to get involved in a solution rather than the legislature continuing on the wrong path. A path that is so long, the blind could see a pattern and propose more effective solutions.

Be sure to thank you drug using buddies for their financial support of the source of the violence in Nj cities. Also extend your appreciation to your self absorbed legislators and judges who continue to exempt the gangs and career criminals from gun laws. they sure do an effective job prosecuting administrative errors in complex gun laws. The sole purpose of that campaign is to frighten anyone from owning a gun in NJ to forward an agenda of eliminating gun ownership.

Now that BB guns are considered firearms and bb pistols the legal equivalent of a 1911 .45 cal pistol, rest easy, the decades long string of murders in Dem controlled cities like Newark will be diminished. Oh, they tried that with Cory Booker, seems there was a month were a murder had not yet been talliied and that one month since the 1960s constituted a turnaround in the mirder rate attributed CB's policies. Actiually it was a turnaround as the decades long murder rate began a steady increase. So be sure to elect people of low moral character, not necessarily CB, but those who surround him and other career pols for their own advantage.

Hey, how's that Graves act working out?

I'm in the minority group of liberals that is against gun control. The laws mean well, despite conservative propaganda to peg it as some sort of dictatorship takeover, but they're too idealistic to be rational. The idea is to keep guns out of the hands of criminals; making more laws doesn't actually stop that from happening. It might add to their prison sentences, which is good for America's disease of loving to put people in jail for long periods of time, but it won't stop gun crime. Someone who is willing to murder someone in cold blood is probably not too concerned with purchasing a gun illegally.

The only people these laws truly slow down are the people who should be able to own a gun.

So is it a dictatorship takeover or is the left literally brain dead? Either they are trying to disarm law abiding citizens because they have an agenda or they are too stupid to realize that criminals don't follow laws so making 500000000 gun laws isn't going to stop an adam lanza or a holmes and we all know it hasn't stopped gun violence in poor liberal controlled cities . In either case they are not fit to be in charge of anything.

No one should have to ask permission to carry a gun

Looks like we've got nothing but cricket chirps from the liberals. I guess they don't care as long as they keep getting their handouts.

Why are guns always the answer to protecting yourself.
