Black Radio Host In McKinney Blames Kids For Pool Party Violence
An African-American radio host in McKinney, Texas, is being labeled a race traitor by other African-Americans after he published a post on Facebook saying it was the teenagers not the police who were at fault for a neighbhood pool party that turned violent last week.

Benét Embry, who published his eyewitness account of the incident on Facebook, says the media has warped the story to make it about race and police brutality. From his perspective, police responded appropriately when a large group of rowdy kids trespassed and ruined a private community event. Several other neighbors have also taken to social media to decry sensationalist media for failing to report the events leading up to the clash with police.
Of course this radio host is correct. None of this would have happened if this group of kids had not trespassed, violated the HOA rules, and refused to cooperate with the police as instructed.

To be fair, based on this one video it does appear that this cop was behaving in an overzealous manner and needed to ratchet it down a notch or two.

However, the assertion by some people that the officer should lose his job for this likely appears to be excessive, and depending on what the standards of police conduct in Dallas are, it is very possibly not going to happen. The fact that these people would jump to the conclusion that this officer should be fired, and to take it to another extreme, be subject to criminal charges apparently based on nothing more than this one video, is hysterical and out of control.

As soon as they started to gang up on him, pulling the weapon was appropriate. If they had made any further move to assault the officer - which they certainly did - it would have been appropriate for him to take whatever actions were necessary to defend himself, up to and including firing on them. Thankfully, that did not happen or need to happen here, but in the Michael Brown incident it very certainly did.

The people who have embraced the point of view that the cop should be fired or jailed appear to be completely oblivious to what the responsibilities of a police officer are and the protections they have under the law to carry out their oftentimes extremely dangerous job. Especially in light of the riots we have seen recently in Ferguson and Baltimore, cops need to be on guard now more than ever and people need to be deferential to cops when given simple and basic instructions like sit down or don't move. When they disregard these simple procedures, that is usually when things begin to get out of hand, as they appear to have here.

And while leftist-controlled ghetto-ridden towns like Baltimore and Detroit may think giving over their neighborhoods to people who are willing to disregard the instructions of the police and even attack police officers, most of the rest of the country very rightly is not going to stand for that kind of crap, very likely including the conservative Dallas suburb of McKinney, Texas (located in Collin county).

The Obama Department of Justice has met with very little resistance with their quasi-takeovers of police departments in places like Ferguson. I could be mistaken, but if the Obama regime tries anything like that with McKinney, they are likely to see it turn into a very well-funded court case. Maybe even the Koch brothers will want to help fund such a valuable, highly important cause.

It is very possible that this is all handled in a police officer disciplinary hearing, and never goes to trial, by the way. And that is not a wrong way to handle this just because the members of some media-led, racially-oriented lynch-mob disagree.

Of course the unruly kids were to blame. I've read several local eyewitness accounts of their behavior and watched the cell phone video. The cop did nothing wrong in my view. The girl and everyone else was told to disperse. Many didn't and they were told to sit down. She refused and kept running her mouth, trying to agitate others. When he got her to the ground he was rushed and drew his weapon. He was justified in doing so.

There is that one punkass in the grey shirt and brown shorts with the teal hat that moves aggressively towards the LEO who needs to be tracked down and arrested for inciting and possibly threatening.

Did any kids get arrested? If so, how many and what for? I have not heard of any specific reports about arrests from this event, so if there were any, whatever information you have about that would be helpful.

Default I thought blacks weren't a Monolith?

Because God help you if you so much as step one black toe off of the liberal Plantation and state your own, independent opinion that veers from the 'party line'

You answered your own question. They weren't arrested because they stood there and did not act like fools.

LOL. From the article:
“Don’t listen to this fool’s show,” Facebook user Tracy Price-Thompson wrote on Embry’s page. “Petition to have it cancelled and taken off the air. But wait, he’s not engaging Blacks as his audience anyway. He’s pandering to whites, eating crow and shucking and jiving to please those who will never accept him.”
Talk about racism. Wow. If a white person said that about Al Sharpton or somebody, can you imagine the reaction.

Pot meet kettle.

Yep. God forbid a black person actually has a brain and learned to get out of the ghetto in both mind and body. Then the haters start calling them Uncle Toms.
