What makes Asian Students Perform Better in School?

In our area the Asian refugees that came over immediately got hired by poultry processing plants. They believed that "any job is better than no job" and worked very hard.

The blacks that were already here cried that there were no jobs and they were discriminated against-----yet no black people applied there. (yes, whites worked there also)

Some people believe--"any job is better than no job"----------some people don't !

Not that i want to go into this topic, but not sure why you're making this a black white issue, but if you must. Where do you live and would you mind if i looked up the unemployment rates within the area?

Since basically what you just said was "All blacks in the area did not apply to any low level jobs, but whites and asians were more than happy to work these jobs"

In a nutshell that's what you just said? So please provide the town and stats and let's see if this can be verified.

Would seem to me based on state statistics and total numbers more of the people that did not apply would have been white.

I could also state

More whites would not have applied than both blacks and asians combined
Asians and whites were more likely to be employed based on percentage of population than blacks
Whites are more likely to be unemployed in the state of MN than both Asians and Blacks combined
Whites are more likely to be employed than Asians and Blacks combined

Otherwise, what exactly do blacks not working in the state of MN have to do with why Asian's perform well in school?
