Bahaha oh the anti gunners thinking they can subvert foreign guns, only to have foreign gun makers just set up shop on our soil instead. Russian sanctions? Well just have Kalashnikov made here instead.

AK's have been made here for many years. Fully automatic. Just not in mass production for resale.

Wonder if they'll make one chambered for 5.56? Mags for my 84s1 are a little hard to find...

Interesting. I'd like to see an equivalent of a Valmet M88 for sale (Saiga does something like that, no?).

Firearms of that sort will be the last rifle left standing before everyone is restricted to single shot long guns.

That's the AK-74. Chambered in the Russian version of the .223. Readily available. That version of the rifle is distinguishable in pictures with the simulated wood finished magazine.

The round is a 5.45X39.
