It's a quite childish response many people on the internet have had to the Rachel Dolezal thing. This idea of "transracialism" is brand new thanks to her. People have been saying, "well if Caitlyn Jenner can decide she's a woman then anyone can decide they can be any race or anything at all." They lack basic understanding of how transgenderism works, but given how taboo it is among some people - whether its an age group thing or a political thing or a regional thing - I'm not surprised by some rather uneducated comments I have been seeing all over.
Again - like I asked pages ago - can anyone provide scientific data or studies on this "transracialsm" and link it to transgenderism? Can anyone prove that it IS in fact as "logical" as being transgender is and how it works?

Well I know that. It's one reason I put logical in quotes. Tell that to the one who created the thread, and those answering who think it does, or who think transgender people have a mental illness or other psychological problems, or those who think this new term "transracialism" is equivalent in any way to transgenderism.
I've always been fascinated with Roman culture, so should I start declaring Italian ancestry and click the "white" box from now on?
I also love Japanese history and culture. I wonder if I could get away with the asian thing too, even though my african ancestry is clearly present, especially with my natural hair. LOL!!

So what. If a man can claim he is a woman, she has every right to claim that she experienced racial dysmorphia since 5 years old. Regardless of her parents' reality. Is the whole trans issue based on the concept that society MUST accept the trans-gender/racial/abled person's reality? It is her reality that she used brown crayons at 5 years old, and unless we are haters or phobes, we MUST accept her reality!
Unfortunately, there aren't more people that believe as we do about this nonsense.
And I do want racial quotas gone. ALL OF THEM.
So that whites who DON'T get a job or in the school they want can STOP blaming it on "quotas" and (insert name of ANY minority here) taking their spot.

And black people can no longer claim injustice due to the racial make up of police forces or executive suites.
It's like we would be a meritocracy or something! No more "white privilege" no more "victimhood" everyone would compete and succeed based solely on the content of their character.
I used brown crayons to draw myself and my family when I was 5. Sometimes it was all that was available. Sometimes I colored the brown very very lightly so it would look tan. Sometimes I colored myself red and purple, too.

Um, if you don't like affirmative action, take it up with the federal government, but not sure why you blame whites for disliking something that actually does happen. Anybody not qualified enough, regardless of race or ethnicity, should be denied when compared to other prospective employees who are more qualified or otherwise somehow better for the job. That is ideal.
People aren't "finding" a reason for being denied - the reason exists and has been upheld in court for decades. Of course it's not true every time a white person doesn't get a job, but affirmative action is an actual thing and many argue - compellingly - it's racist towards whites.

I agree with you. AA did nothing more than demean black people (they were only hired because they are black) and create animosity from white people who used AA as an excuse to claim victimhood for not getting a certain job or into a certain school. AA created far more issues than it was ever intended to solve.
