California -- that pocket of stupidity that lines the left coast of the US -- wants to show that #ILLEGALlivesmatter.
"This is a historic day," said Senate President Pro Tem Kevin De Leon, D-Los Angeles. "With this budget, we're saying that ILLEGAL immigrant lives matter."
Anti-illegal immigration advocates said California has already granted driver's licenses and college scholarships to people who are in the country illegally. They worry it will entice more people to cross the border illegally.
If California could be represented in human form, it would be one-third Lindsay Lohan, one-third Kim Kardashian, and one-third tequila --- because that's the only way anything that comes out of this state makes sense.
Whatever happened to the respect of law? Maybe one of these "immigrant lives that matter" will end up committing a serious crime against Kevin De Leon, and that will help him to understand that you don't encourage lawlessness.
Just pathetic. Illegal is illegal, send them all back. I know that will never happen, the left needs them as voters and the right need them to work in their factories or keep their lawns manicured.

You are partially wrong. Both Democrat and Republican businesses hire illegal aliens.
All lives do matter, and realistically, illegal immigration is not an immoral crime so it's not one that we need to get that upset about, I feel. With that said, spending government money on healthcare for people who likely are not paying taxes and, at least according to the government, don't even really exist, it pretty much entirely pointless.
It's quite tragic, and actually more immoral that illegally crossing the boarder, that one of the only ways to make healthcare affordable is through insurance, government subsidized or not.
A few of the articles on this bother to mention that a waiver will be required from the feds. It will put this in Obama's court, it will be interesting to see if the feds will follow the law and go after this like they did with 1070 in AZ or quietly sign off on it. Either way the dems in CA win a media battle.
Have we reached the point where illegals get more benefits than some of our citizens ?
Oh, probably. But that's the magic of demographics.
It doesn't really take that long to remake a town into Salinas CA, or Glendale AZ. With enough population mass and a bit of inertia, you can swing things your way.
