Default A WAR And A Recession???

If we have a recession (and that is still a big IF at this point) and things get painful here in America, how do you think this will affect the WAR in IRAQ? I think that Americans who might be hurting may not be too happy with politicians sending another $100 billion over there come spring time. People don't mind it when times are good but often think differently when times are not good. That is kind of what brought about the end of Veitnam although there were other factors not present here. What do you think?

What people DON'T think is that Iran also has a large oil reserve. You see $100 oil barrel for Iraq, what do you think is going to happen in Iran? Considering, its almost a guarantee that oil would be blown up (worse, if they detonate a "dirty" radioactive bomb at the sites and making it completely unusable for many, many years). Oil prices would jump to $200-$300 a barrel and like Iraq, no end to violence from insurgent groups. You kill one and at the same time you make five more is NO victory. You want to fight them then you have to fight ideology and unfortunately, our ideology is not right (its just plain greed). Hilliary I believe is supporting an Iran invasion. Given our state of economics and two other wars is Afghanistan and Iraq... I doubt our economy can survive another (I believe Halliburton would disagree)... you think things are expensive now, wait till you see what happens if we ever attack Iran.

Default Recession? No problem, just start a war.

Well, rest assured that if the Recession does happen, all we have to do to revive our stricken economy is start another war.

Right? Right???? RIGHT???????????????????
