It's a lot easier just to call the police and have the car ticketed. I wouldn't waste my money and time on Post-it notes.

I can only fight so many social causes at a time. This is not one of them. Especially since there are usually more spaces than needed.

Although as a kid when I worked in fast food we, could see the cars in handicapped spaces and refused to serve them unless they moved. I guess that was my contribution.

For those of us, who truly need to park close because of permanent disabling injuries, it's in insult. I call the non emergency number for the police and have them ticketed, and possibly towed. I didn't ask to be injured while on active duty, and quite frankly would do about anything, if the injuries could be fixed. I don't like being in pain all the time, and having trouble walking, but for someone to be so disrespectful as to park in that spot when unnecessary, yeah, it's gonna cost them some money.

I don't pretend to be superhero who has the power to tell when others are handicapped or not. You don't have to be missing a limb or use a wheelchair to qualify to use those spaces. I trust that 95% of people are honest and won't do like the jerk above who buys handicap tags online and is clueless about why some people get to be "fat old people"---the physical ailments they may have that contribute to their condition.

Same thing you do when your doing 70 in a 55 in the fast lane and some law breaker comes up behind you doing 85. you let it go by. If your not willing to patrol the highways and be your brother's keeper you shouldn't be patrolling the parking lots.

It seems to me that there are so many ailments considered a "handicap" today, it's a wonder that there are any non handicap spots left. Mostly I see middle aged people who are disgustingly obese taking those spots.
It reminds me of the Simpsons episode where Homer found out that obesity is a handicap and ate himself up to 300 lbs just so he could work from home!
