Does anyone else think that the US could benefit from having a more diverse choice of political parties to join or vote for, as is in Europe. I mean sure there ARE more parties than just the Dems, and the Reps, but picking for anyone but them is usually viewed as wasting a vote, and the Dems/Reps have such an undisputed split monarchy on the political system, it's pointless to vote anyone else..

There are plenty of parties to vote for. There isn't enough people voting for them.

We need fewer politicians and less government. Not sure how expanding the roster of thieves to choose from will make things better?

I think taxpayers should be able to decide how their tax money is spent. That is actually one of my major concerns.

we perhaps don't need more government regulations, rules, laws, politicians, lobbies, they are all annoying.

No we don't really need more parties. Just one good candidate who will actually do what the people elected him to do. Heck, we would even settle for that every third or forth election.

The challenge is getting them into the debates. If there's one thing Democrats and Republicans can agree on, it's keeping other voices silent.

We need less "parties" and more candidates with their own ideas.

Are you referring to often neglected yet existing parties such as the Green party. That party helped the election cycle in 2000. Ralph Nader.
