It was the National Action Network that got their panties all in a bunch over a flag that hasn't even been in Kid Rock's shows as of late. They're the ones who are looking for publicity in all this - trying to get the museum in Detroit as well as GM to put pressure on Kid Rock.
Which ended up being a major fail.
So, no. Kid Rock isn't the one who went looking for the media in this one - that was all Sharpton.

Kid Rock tours with bands like Foreigner now. He lost a lot of his fans when he went country and that proved to be his downfall. Now he is trying to make himself reverent again.
He has actually had far more success ever since turning country.
