The vast majority of liberals are racists, except under their own carefully constructed, politically contrived definitions of racism that are crafted specifically to immunize them from the possibility of being racists, at least in their own minds. Of course these self serving definitions of racism are themselves racist.

In fact, most of the most intense racists we have in our society identify as Democrats, and a very large proportion of those reside in the inner cities.

It is not racism the CSA Flag represents how states can secede if the Federal Gov. is over reaching. Sound Familiar with todays Adminstration?

Those who make Racist are out for a political agenda.

This whole issue is all about nothing and Black American snot addressing the real issues. For Example Illegal Immigration that jobs are stolen every day. A lack Lust Growth in Industry?

We would not of had the problems in Baltimore and Ferguson if we had a pro-grow the Economy.

If they had won slavery would've eventually become illegal and we would still look back at the founding of a confederacy of slave holding states to defend the institution of slavery as bad. The Vice President of the Confederate states words:

Those words would be as offensive now even if the South lost, just because the Confederacy meant more than just slavery doesn't remove the fact that it did in fact mean a lot about slavery in a world that was rejecting slavery.

If the SOUTH had won, wouldn't we look back on the confederacy the same as we look back on the original 13 colonies... They had slavery and maintained it for over half a century after the revolution. Is it because they were silent about slavery during the forming of their constitution where the Southern states were not? Likely.

Folks weren't silent at the Constitutional Convention, the issue of slavery was debated:

Constitutional Topic: The Constitutional Convention - The U.S. Constitution Online - USConstitution.net

Compromises were made in order to form the Union.

Leading up to the Civil War, there is no denying the Confederacy was attempting to preserve its 'heritage.' There is also no sense in denying this heritage referred to a way of life founded on white supremacy & supported by the institution of slavery. This was not hidden back then & I don't understand the need to whitewash now?

The way of life in the North was also founded on white supremacy however was not (solely) supported by the institution of slavery.

All of this is part of American history. As Americans, we can acknowledge our history & choose what parts to be proud of.

Why anyone would choose this part to be proud of is beyond my understanding.
