During Reagan's tenure, our nation went from one of the wealthiest nations to one of the most debt-laden nations. It was also during the 80's that our country started being bought up by English, German, and Japanese interests.

Yes, due to Congress spending more than Reagan's proposals for 7 of the 8 years he was President.
Reagan was not joking when he said that Congress spends like "drunken sailors."

Wow.. that average refund kinda goes to show the average American knows little about finance. If you think giving the government an interest free loan of $2,287 each year is good practice, I've got some goods and services that I'd love to sell you.

I don't think it's a good idea...that's one of the reasons I OWE money this year. I'd rather keep my money week to week, and pay up at the end.
