People have been discussing this in the last few days, and just as we suspected he would not do the red, white, and blue. He can celebrate the homosexuals, but not this country. What a President huh? If he is a President, I must be the King of England. Come on 2017 when we see the end of this mess.
Couldn't agree more. I didn't see things this way in 1979 when Jimmuh Carter was POTUS. I even voted for him, out of his belief that sacrificing this country's interests would make us a better country.

Then, in 1981 was learned what it was like to have a patriotic President.

Kanhawk, except for the last sentence, which I deleted, I can see reasonableness in your statement. I imagine you and I don't share a lot of viewpoints, but here you have written something that is a fair and reasonable opinion.

Every president is a "real" president whether we like him or not. The fact that peopl write what they do about him and that he lets it roll off his back like the ignorance that it is, shows just how good a president and person he is.
Your inability to spell shows your lack of education. Same with the use of the word "like" where you sound like a 15 year old.

Obama could've bleeped red, white and blue firecrackers out of his bleep, while holding a bud light in one hand and a bald eagle in the other, wearing a Jimmy Johnson NASCAR jacket with Toby Keith's guitar rendition of the National Anthem playing in the background, and he still wouldn't be "American" enough for some of you. Whatever that means.

Give one the opportunity and they will literally whine about anything.

Being black has nothing to do with it. We who hold to libertarian beliefs can never accept him because he's a statist, and has taken that form of depravity to new levels ... especially in his efforts to derail our Constitutional heritage of checks and balances. It is the so-called "progressives" who are the most dangerous advocates of Fascism in contemporary America.

Why am I not surprised to discover that a bunch of "progressives" spent their 4th of July on an internet message board making fun of America?

Sorry, you should try to get an education then. Tedious and moronic you will have to work on. Never give up.
ps, care to compare degrees?

Also when a liberal can't win an argument they resort to name calling.

I purposely avoided this thread because I knew it would only be a matter of time before I got dragged into some nonsense, but this is where I draw the line.

What, on God's green earth are you talking about!?! Pseudo-intellectualism at its finest.

Obama isn't even close to a statist. Not even in the same ballpark. Compare him to some moderate socialist politicians in Europe, such as Elio di Rupo, and he still doesn't even come close.

Take this garbage to TheBlaze - Breaking news and opinion. I am sure you will get quite the warm welcome.

Right because the White House never does anything gaudy. Have you seen the trees and all the decorations that go up at Christmas, the Easter Egg roll on the front lawn, hosting troops and family members for fireworks and a BBQ on July 4th, hosting a Passover Sedar. The list goes on.

The White House has always done big gaudy displays for holidays and such. They were doing it long before Obama and will be doing it long after.
