Tired of both really, except hate what I see more from one party then the other.

The elders of the corporate ***** wing of the Republican Party would love to complete their purge of members not fully devoted to placing the interests of the party and the ruling class over the interests of the nation.

Democrats completed their patriot purge decades ago and are now free of all obstructive internal dissent resulting from individual party member`s love of country.

For that reason, I tend to agree with your agreement.

The job market also improves during these periods of Republican control as unemployment decreases or the nation is at full employment.

On those three occasions since 1946 when Republicans controlled both houses, their record is consistent and the party of the president, at least as these two areas of economic performance are concerned, is irrelevant.

108th-109th Congress......Bush Jr.(R) Unemployment 6.0% to 4.6%, Deficit $377 Bn 2003, Deficit $248 Bn 2006

104th-106th Congress......Clinton (D) Unemployment 5.6% to 4.0%, Deficit $164 Bn 1995, Surplus $236 Bn 2000

80th Congress.................Truman (D) Unemployment 3.9% to 3.8%, Deficit $15.9 Bn 1946, Surplus $4 Bn 1947

So far, since Republicans gained control of both houses in the 2010 midterm, deficits, $1299 Bn in 2011, have decreased to $492 Bn in 2014.

Unemployment has declined from 9.2% in January 2011 to 5.3% in June of 2015.

If you would like to present your numbers we could compare them to the ones I provided.

As it stand right now, Congressional Republicans are four for four.

who is better for the economy? republicans or democrats?

It makes absolutely no difference.

The problem isn't which party controls congress & presidency. The problem are the career politicians who get returned to DC time and time again.

i.e. Stop fighting the false war of Republicans vs Democrats.

Obama's promise to "fundamentally transform the United States of America" is what most Democrats support. They are mostly all Marxist/socialists ("Progressives"). They hate America as our Founders created it. Republicans, for the most part, believe in America as founded. Their problem is their "go along to get along" strategy, which is really no strategy at all. They are to damn P.C. to state the truth and take corrective action. They are too afraid of not being liked, and the Leftist keep them in this state by assuring them that they are hated. But that's a lie.

Trump speaks the truth and his popularity soars. There is a lesson to be learned here.

As long as we have a Republican House & Senate, the President can't screw things up too much even if he's Democrat. Bill Clinton screwed up the economy when he had a Democrat Congress but when he had a Republican Congress & Senate, he was an economic genius and Monica man.

George Bush economy stayed strong even after 911 while he had a Republican Congress & Senate. His last 2 years, Nancy & Harry took over control of the Legislative branch and directed our economy into the toilet.

Obama was the worst President in history with the economy his first 2 years with Dem controlled Congress, but after the Republicans were elected to fix the economy, they fixed it and now even it looks like he might know something about the economy.

My point is that whether the President is Republican or Democrat doesn't matter much, but we need a Republican Congress for our economy to thrive.

What "beliefs" of theirs do you hate? Do you even know anything about the Republican Party other than the stupid jokes you hear from Jon Stewart?

Do you know that they've always stood for equal rights for all and freedom for all, even in the face of Democratic Slave owners before and during the Civil War?

What their "beliefs" are is that when you give money to people for nothing, you corrupt them and you rob them of their freedom and pursuit of happiness. America was an idea to create a country where people were free to create their own prosperity without excessive tax and restrictions. The GOP has consistently throughout the years stood solid on this point.

That is why they vote against welfare, free healthcare...it has nothing to do with race or keeping people down. AT least they stick with their values, unlike the Democrats that change with whatever direction the wind blows.

I don't always agree with the Republicans but I respect them.

As far as economy goes, we are so far in debt and are strangled by so many social programs and entitlements I don't think it much matters anymore who is in power. It's going to require a big reset to get American's back to where they used to be, hard workers who would rather die than take a handout from the government.
