Do you have a source for the stats on that claim?

I copied and pasted the article and then did a word search for "too". This is the only sentence where it shows up.

She was taken initially to Holy Cross but her injury was too severe and she was transported to Tucson for surgery to reconstruct her foot.
At no point in the article does it ever mention that the fence is too high. References to the fences height are:

Quote:
The 31-year-old Oaxaca native was dangling by one arm, a drop of more than two stories below her.

“What surprises us is that people continue to jump from heights that can be the equivalent of a two- or even three-story house,” he said.
The article is simply reporting that people are getting injured trying to jump the fece just as they get injured trying to cross the dessert and that it is costing US tax payers money.

Read the original article. They believe jumping the fence is safer than traversing the dessert.

Not according to our immigration laws. An immigrant is someone who comes here legally. An illegal alien is someone who does not. They aren't "immigrants". So put away your dictionary it has nothing to do with our immigration law terminology.

Sentiments? WTH does that mean? I gave you the correct terminology that is in our immigration laws for those in our country illegally and that is my own personal "sentiment"?
