I have been a Republican for years with somewhat hawkish views. Over the last year or so, I've become much more in line with Rand and the libertarian wing. I now view Snowden as doing the right thing.

Have any of you come to similar conclusions?

Currently, I view Snowden as a traitor, giving Putin as much info as he can to avoid being deported back to the US.

Funny how the US media was talking about how China hacking into our database all the while, it was Snowden snitching about the US spying on China, Russia, and who knows what.

Remember those who point fingers and blame, 3 more fingers are pointing directly at you.

I dont remember any of Snowden's files saying we were spying on China or Russia, but you would be a fool to not have already known(or atleast believe) we were spying on the 2 of them. It shouldnt be a shock to anyone.

Another thing is that Senator Obama would have also viewed him as a national hero.

Kiriakou was sentenced to 30 months in federal prison. While he was officially convicted for leaking the name of a covert officer, Kiriakou said he was really being targeted for revealing the details about post-9/11 torture tactics in the US.
