All this talk about higher wages in the northern cities is true but it doesn't matter unless compared to the cost of living. I've heard that NW Arkansas area is nice but I haven't made it there yet.

Nope, but blue states also have Republicans, while southern states vote largely based on race. Northern states are also often red states

If my state, Massachusetts, didn't have the majority black inner cities of Boston and Brockton along with the outlying majority Hispanic cities of Lawrence, Chelsea, Springfield, et al,

....we would be Norway.

Per capita by race, not the entire population.

How did you know there are blacks in eastern Massachusetts? Did you veer into the black ghetto of Roxbury once?

I look forward to the leadership of Detroit and Baltimore running the South...... lets see how well things go. Several northern cities appear Post-Apocalyptic in nature due to "progressives".

Well, you could apply this to their minority populations, as they vote overwhelmingly Democratic, but these states are all red states. Whites vote overwhelmingly Republican, and statistics back this up (you can do a quick Google search for more info.)

Of course, it could all just be a coincidence that voting patterns fall into these categories...
