He didn't let the slurs and ridiculous roadblocks they threw in his way slow him down or distract him from his goals, he just sidestepped them and continue on.

You are right, years from now, when the country has outgrown its racist past, history will view him in a very favorable light.
^ This post bears repeating. Well said and very true!

Sabotage the country to get rid of the Black President!! Bite your nose to spite your face

That's like saying Jackie Robinson is hitless and you intentionally walk him every time he comes to bat!!

Other than Obamacare, please list the accomplishments of the first Obama administration WHEN HIS PARTY CONTROLLED THE EXECUTIVE AND BOTH HOUSES OF CONGRESS?

What did he do with all the cards in his hand?

How many of his subsequent accomplishments are not subject to immediate revocation if the next President (of either party) issues an executive order nullifying all those issued by Obama?

During his first term when something went wrong (and that happens whoever is in the Oval Office) all we heard was It's Bush's fault! It's Bush's fault! You're just racist! Sorry but that dog won't hunt.

There used to be a sign on the Resolute desk (in the Oval Office). The sign said "The Buck Stops Here" It was Harry Truman's sign but, it epitomizes something that ought to be clear to everyone; when something bad happens, like the BATF sending guns to Mexican cartels and having one use to kill a US Agent, or having a Ambassador and three others killed by a mob in Libya but having the White House press secretary give out false or misleading information to make it seem that the Secretary of State didn't make a literally life and death decision improperly, it's not just the responsibility of the offending official. The President is equally to blame; it is ultimately his responsibility.

I would say that a better simile would be that Pres. Obama is the Tom Chambers of the presidency.

In 1987, Chambers won the MVP in the NBA all-star game. The all star game is widely regarded as a joke by basketball fans. But Tom Chambers won the MVP award and declared, "Today, I am the best player in the world."

He was a good player, but not even close to the best. Barack is the Tom Chambers of the presidency.
