The Iranian regime works mostly, but not always, by proxy. From Iraq (where they were responsible for hundreds of American deaths) to Assad to Hezbullah to Hamas to Yemen. The Revolutionary Guards themselves are active in fighting for Assad and training Hezbullah. The regime has sent billions in arms to the terror gangs and war criminals of the region: Hezbullah, Hamas, Palestinian Islamic Jihad, the butcher Assad. The army of Hezbullah is in effect part of the Iranian military. Lebanon is Iranian-occupied.
Agents of Iran are also in Yemen, Bahrain, and Afghanistan. Recently they were caught in acts of terrorism in India, Georgia, Thailand, and Azerbaijan and Nepal, Cyprus, Nigeria, And Bulgaria (where they successfully committed a massacre). High Iranian officials and former officials are wanted by Interpol for mass murder in Argentina.
I don't understand how antipathy toward the US on the part of some people leads to defending such a despicable regime.

We have several CIA Agents that can't go back to England because they have Arrest Warrants out for Kidnapping. We have people that can't go to some Countries, because they would be arrested as War Criminals. Blackwater and other Mercenary Groups, hired, and paid for, by us, are responsible for countless acts of War Crimes, and Murders, all over the World.
Bottom line is that we are the same, as them, just on different sides and support opposite groups. Understanding that is not supporting Iran. We are despicable to each other.

Why where they there in the first place? I get so sick of all these Clowns going overseas for Money or excitement, and getting their arses locked up, then crying for the rest of us to get them out. Let's not forget the Iran-Iraq war where the US armed, encouraged and supported Saddam Hussein and has the blood of a million Iranians on its hands. The United States is behind horrible atrocities committed against the Iranian people and Americans seem totally ignorant of that fact. What makes it even worse is that we are on the wrong side of right in the middle east. The Iranians are the good guys. The Saudis are the one promoting genocide, ISIS and international terror - not necessary the government, but the wealthy in Sunni countries. Iran has been fighting it.

You are mistaken. You should reword that as "Only Americans can be that DELUSIONAL" not "arrogant". I blame the mainstream media for brainwashing people into thinking this. After decades of being told that the US is the best and is the greatest superpower of all time, I think it is hard for people to face the reality. The reality is America is not an omnipotent country and its power (specifically military) is far more limited than what most people think. The problem is a lot of Americans don't seem to understand that diplomacy is crucial and that relying on military power doesn't get you what you want. Unfortunately, a lot of Americans are brainwashed into thinking that unconditional surrender is the only diplomatic option (thank you WWII media propaganda) and again I blame the media for spreading this garbage especially since unconditional surrender is actually incredibly rare in most instances throughout history.
In the case of Iran, the truth is most countries outside of Israel, Saudi Arabia, and the US don't really care if Iran becomes a nuclear state. They only agreed to these sanctions after pressure from the US and most of the time America's "allies" circumvented these sanctions. Most countries wanted the sanctions to end because they wanted Iranian oil. In the context of unconditional surrender, the only thing that will make a lot of Americans happy about Iran is if Iran agrees to an unconditional surrender to the US and lets itself be occupied and be reformed by the US in the same way as postwar Germany and Japan.

Why offended by "death to America" immediately after signing a major agreement that changes the situation 180deg and removes the sanctions that crippled Iran's economy for years? One that allows them to develop nuclear weapons in the future?
