You're confusing gender and sexual orientation. "Asexual" refers to a sexual orientation, or the lack thereof. Transgender refers to a person's gender identity.

I'm gay and I assure you I am 100% male. I've never had any inclination whatsoever to wear women's clothing. And I've never had any inclination at all to have a sex change.

What is it with you conservatives and lumping everyone together?
