Free Pride is a Glasgow organization that seeks to be an alternative to other Pride events, which have apparently become “over-commercialised and de-radicalised.” Free Pride, instead, stands for “anti-commercialisation,” “inclusivity” and treating “Pride as a protest.”
In the spirit of inclusiveness, Free Pride initially issued a statement banning all drag queen performers from participating in an event on Aug. 22.

Drag queens are performers. It's an art. Some of these people regularly dress in clothings of the opposite sex and some dress normal during every day life. In other words, it's all an act.

I am so glad that you created this post. I must admit that I am a troll. Not a troll in the commonly known internet sense of antagonizing posters but more so to instigate debate. I like to pick on the "social experts" that like to ride the wave but have absolutely no clue what they are really defending.
I called it in the past. While I do accept and welcome the LGBT culture, many that only know of equal rights are only aware of the boxed state. Meaning, they really don't know what comes with the LGBTC culture such as crossdressing/ drag contests, gay cruises, gay crusing (seeking casual sex in public and or open areas), gay after hour events, etc. People want to ride the wave and feel good about themselves.
We live in a world where straight men have sex on the low with other men strictly for the pleasure but go home to their wives and kids. Straight men that wear women's clothing and participate in contests just for fun. Men that think they are truly women, female that truly feel they are men inside, and men that are attracted to other men with full beards. Hey, whatever floats your boat. The problem is, many people think that it only comes with the mental state uncommon to traditional heterosexual culture and it stops there. Oh no. You also have to also accept the uncommon culture such as the above stated.
Now we have fraudulent crossdressers having a sissy fit with true transgenders. And now we will have people coming at me for calling crossdressers fraudulent. Well, if you are not a woman but dressing as one, you are a fraud- no offense. You can't pretend and not accept the label.
I side with transgenders but crossdressers do have a right to do as they please. We can't have these sissy battles corrupting our news outlets.
