Now, that is a discussion worth having.
The answer is those jobs are taken by illegal immigrants. Look around your community -- the least educated and youngest used to work in construction, landscaping, food service, hotel service, car wash, --look around at who's taking those jobs now. Only 5% of immigrants work in agriculture now......

But I'm a racist for even bringing it up

Carry on.

And we would be better off if Lincoln hadn't killed 800,000 Americans and we would be better off if FDR had not extended the depression, etc.

At some point the idiot in the White House has to take responsibility for his failed programs.

And several of those idiots have been Republicans. I didn't hear George admit much of anything. Or George Sr. admit much of anything. Or Ronnie admit much of...oh wait, his mind was gone, he couldn't remember.

Um, that would be 30 years of doing nothing. No accident. It has not mattered who sat the oval or held the majority.

On the bright side, low wages means low inflation.

I have been working outside in the heat and humidity today and am a tad fuzzy. What programs have killed jobs and hurt children.

I just don't understand where your beliefs come from in light of the known facts.
Part-time jobs have been surging while full-time tumbled in June, but then again, part time is better than nothing at all.

Just in case anybody missed this: Roadking believes we would be better off with slavery today.

Not a single one of those would change how low paying the jobs are. And in fact...almost NONE of it deals with Obama. Mostly your local government, and things passed by congress.

I believe his Lincoln comment was in reference to finding an alternative to ending slavery without war, as many historians have also criticized Lincoln for not doing.
