And why is it anyones business if a person uses abortion as birth control. In the US the federal government is banned from paying for peoples abortion, so it is womens own money paying for these abortion pills or procedures.
Just because something is legal doesnt mean it is right. In indiana if someone breaks into your house you can shoot them. Even if they are unarmed. Its legal but it isnt right is it?

Let's see...

One day we are complaining about the number of black children born to unwed mothers, usually accompanied by rants about welfare queens having baby's to increase their dependency on welfare, or some such. Then the next day we get about the horrors of all these unwed - and sure-to-be welfare dependent drains on humanity - aborting their unwanted pregnancies.

Personally, I would just like some folks to make up their minds!

Margaret Sanger* would be delighted to hear that.

* Founder of Planned Parenthood who believed that "inferior races" should abort their children because they were just "one step above the chimpanzee".

Can we cut the pro/anti abortion rhetoric out for a second and just be honest.

If even just 5,000 of those aborted fetuses were born to women living in poverty who's going to pay for them?

It always seems the people who scream the loudest about the horrors of abortion scream just as loud when a welfare queen has her 4th kid and the government has to pay to support it.

You can't have it both ways.

It's not that I am a 'fan' of abortion....but imagine the black community in NYC if theses bortionsw event taking place. This will sound absolutely horrible, but society (and in this case NYC) is likely much better off without these kids. Were they all destined to be criminals? Of course not. But 99% would likely be born into generational poverty, without a father, to mothers ill-equipped to care for them.

Either you are against abortion because you (inaccurately believe) it is sacred life or you don't. Otherwise you are just concerned about controlling the sexuality and assumed consequences of womens sexuality. Raped women are given a pass, but women who simply had a birth control failure must go through 9 months of pregnancy in order to teach her or other women that they are nasty for enjoying sex but maybe being unlucky with their birth control?
You have a point, however my guess is that most raped women prevent pregnancy. Ever heard of Plan B, emergency contraception?

And no one is giving "raped" women a pass. They are simply considering the horrible trauma these women are going through that they agree to kill a life to save the woman's sanity. Most women having 9 or 15 abortions don't do it because birth control "failed", they do it because their "men" don't like how condoms feel and contraceptives make them fat.

Are these the only two options; have a kid, continuing generational welfare, or use abortion as birth control? Perhaps it's too much to expect people to act responsibly, and like productive members of society.

I guess those people who are upset by this could simply fund for free condoms and birth control combined with comprehensive sex education to reduce the number of abortions....but then again, that would probably upset them too....

And do you think these strong families will come from people who have kids they can't afford or from people are better educated when it comes to sexual education, and given the needed preventative things. It also helps to have more after school programs for children who's parents can't afford to work less to be home raising their children. It would also be good to push for hire wages so we could get back to the time when one income was enough to support a family.

No, the third option is better sexual education and providing free preventative things like condoms and actual birth control pills. Teenagers and young adults are naturally horn people who are just coming into sexual lives, to expect that they will not have sex until they are 30 and married and only having sex to produce children is complete nonsense.
