The only place I would grow the Govt is federal prosecutors. And I would unleash them towards politicians first.

Trump is a product of our current environment. High income inequality, rapid technological change, rapid demographic change, almost 20 years of constant war, broken healthcare system, a low labor participation rate, high illegal immigration, etc.
That aspect of it needs to be shut down quickly before it gets more out of hand. Like the Bundy's. Not saying all Trump supporters are that violent, but there is a percentage, not to mention those that have no political interest, but like to get into those things.
I predict groups from the left will calm down - if they crack down on those on the Right, finally. Thanks Bundyites, bungling so completely, the Feds are likely to crack down on those loons. Trump's reaction will be interesting, I'm sure...

He reacted on CNN a few minutes ago with Mr Lemon. Trump says he never said anything wrong at any of his rallies. He claimed supporters are some time bad and the mobs should fight back sometimes. No footage ever produced showing protesters attacking anyone before their escorted out of his rallies. Per CNN reporters. This will help him with the RNC primaries. Things will likely get worse someone will likely get killed.
If this continues, brace yourself for civil clashes and unrest. It's not too far fetched people, it's not too far fetched.

the problem is that the two party system is reaching its age limit so to say. gop and dem have fewer and fewer interests in common. each caters to special interest/demographic groups. the divide seems irreversible and gop and dem are more often at odds with each other than cooperating, which makes the government very inefficient. trump as an expert deal maker and in between partisan stances has the potential to unite the two parties together; but his brash personality whips a lot of fear out of some sensitive groups and establishments, who are trying desperately to abort his quest for the potus.
