Because none of those laws proposed would have any effect on anything like this.
Let's quit beating around the bush. We either pass serious gun control that would dramatically curb 2A Rights, or we accept that this kind of event will happen from time to time.
Even if you do the first, the second will still happen.

There have been over 172 mass killings between the years 2006 and 2011 by FBI count with some unreported which would take the count to well over 200 with firearms making up at least 77% of those mass killings.
One mass killing with 77% odds a gun was used, on average, every two weeks and you don't have a problem? Cripes!
And yet our murder rate has been dropping for more than 50 years...... so I don't think we have a problem. It's now half the rate of 1972.
This problem is minuscule compared to deaths by other means. And the rate continues to go down.
Our government kills more people every year than mass murderers do. Maybe we need to eliminate government or at least take their guns away.

The perp in that - his race and religion were never mentioned once in the early reporting...not a peep. It wasn't until later that the MSM realized they had to come clean.

We all KNOW if it had been a Muslim, or black man, or for that matter almost any "person of color" the MSM would NEVER have made that a focal point about their propaganda, now don't we?
Furthermore, the fact that there were only two fatalities? How many multiple fatality shooting are there every week in Chicago...by a "person of color"?
This just pisses me off.
Yes they put it front and center, "WHITE MALE" when it's obvious from his picture he's white. The media always downplays and hides race when a non-white commits notorious crime. Paint whites in the worst light possible and non-whites in the best light possible is what the progressive do. But that is not racist .
