There's a reason this is called "news." A dog bites human is no news; a human bites a dog, because it happens so rarely, it'd become a national or international news.
The city I live, bad guys got shot or shot on weekly if not daily basis but there's hardly anything in the news because it happens all the time.
So what's the point of turning a blind eye to daily horrors but getting all excited over something rarely happens?
I can use one word to describe that behavior but you may not like it.
It isn't worth debating with some of these people. Lack of education on the subject , fear or just pure ignorance keeps them from understanding the truth.
