She's young. Instead of hanging out at CPAC she should be traveling the world and learning about our amazing world.

Her fist stop should be Stockholm.
Yeah, she can see how Sweden deals with millions of poor immigrants and non-whites -- oh wait, it doesn't.

LOL

Yeah...

Meanwhile our middle class is slowly falling behind those countries. So when did we start dealing with poor immigrants and non-whites? Let me guess: the 60s! No... we had a very strong middle class then. How about the 80's? Nope, was still going strong.

Wait a minute. It started to decline in the 90's. THAT'S when the US all of a sudden had an explosion of non-whites and immigration. Except no. Unless it's the 1790's.

Face it, non-authoritarian, non-banana republic socialist countries are passing us in terms of quality of life and in some cases production.

Note that @ @ 11:32 she mentions "our friend Ted Cruz."
Eviscerate? Um, to me, she came across like a talking GOP Barbie Doll mindlessly repeating propaganda and insults. Meh. What a shame.

I'm a rather independent millennial and I'd debate her any time on so many of these issues. I can't stand Obama (or Bush, or Clinton, or Bush), but she did not "eviscerates Pres. Obama and the left" just because she gave a speech to a receptive audience.
The audience helps here. It was a conservative audience. And frankly, I don't know how crowded CPAC crowds are, but they didn't even seem that excited. They gave half hearted claps when she made a point they've already heard.

Too much of political discourse happens only between people of the same parties. It's so rare to see two opposing sides actually get into a discussion. And when I say discussion, I mean discussion. Any media channel can bring in two people with the attempt to get one of them shouting because it's more entertaining, but actual debate is quite rare anymore.

What does being blonde have to do with anything, OP? Unless you find a blonde that is capable of forming complete sentences to be remarkable?

Forming complete sentences is about the highest praise I could give to this performance. She has a very lackluster delivery that wasn't able to really rouse an audience that was on her side and more than willing to be roused to begin with. I hope she has another career path in mind, because public speaking ain't it.

Well considering 14.3% of Sweden's population is made up of foreign born immigrants, a higher percentage than the US, and the majority of these immigrants come from the Middle East and Africa, I think Sweden is just fine.

Heck the most famous Swede at the moment is Swedish footballer Zlatan Imbrahimovic, a Bosnian immigrant of Muslim descent. He heaps a tremendous amount of praise of the Swedish system which gives poor refugees a good chance of acculturation and moving into middle class Swedish society.

So your point is moot. Any other classic American stereotypes about Sweden you need me to debunk?

I similarly was not impressed with her oratory skills.

This seemed more about self promotion than anything else.

I didn't hear a lot of original thought in this clip. As others have stated, I heard a lot of the same talking points that I see all over the internet by Republicans. I want something original. Use an original voice, original thoughts, original ideas. Parroting what you see on forums and in comment sections does not, to me, eviscerate anyone.

I'm glad that she's young but sees that nothing actually is free, I'm glad that she understands that some policies are nothing but political posturing, I'm glad that she isn't one who is expecting that anyone gives her things or pays her way....but eviscerate?

I did not see that. I saw a lot of insults, which didn't make her look good. (I do that on this forum, mainly because I don't take much on this forum seriously, but I'm not standing at CPAC...how you present yourself there should be more professional.) And I hate to say it, because I do believe that she's at least on the right track, I did see a lot of arrogance there, too. I don't like that smugness from anyone, I don't care who they vote for.
I'd love to see Republicans take a lead on showing how problems can be solved rather than putting their energy into pretending there isn't a problem, ala healthcare or global warming.

One good example where conservatives stepped up is education. They have accepted that everyone should be educated, so their voucher idea is very good - much better than liberals forcing kids into the nearest school, regardless of how bad it is.

Good video. I am still trying to figure out how her age or her hair color figure into it.
