Liberals embrace an unsustainable, failed policy that has never worked anywhere (with the exception of a few ethnically homogeneous nordic nations).

Somehow, they think it would be different in the US!
Just look at the socialist Bernie Sanders, the guy leads in some democrat polls, and he is promising a massive federal expansion with an increase spending of about $18 trillion over ten years.

When that runs out..........Greece is a prime example. Kudos to the Dutch for finally seeing the light.

Who talks about how he's going to create jobs for everyone in this country. Where are these jobs? Who are going to create these jobs? Such an idiot.

But teacher tells me I am gifted to become an artistist or community organizer.

But professor tells me that college is not for finding a job, but for finding myself. I found myself unemployed, living in mom and dad's basement.

But politicians tell me the rich will pay more, but I found my own taxes go up.

Indeed, it is.

Although spending averages 40 percent of GDP today:

■ By 2020, the average EU country will need to raise the tax rate to 55 percent of national income to pay
promised benefits.
■ By 2035, a tax rate of 57 percent will be required.
■ By 2050, the average EU country will need more than 60 percent of its GDP to fulfill its obligations

EU member-States have serious problems with unfunded liabilities, even worse than the US.

The Netherlands is just trying to be proactive (and realistic) about it.

The Socialist states evolved mostly after WWII. They can sustain their programs with continuous growth in populations and economic growth. I'm sure the mind-set hasn't changed to continue the system with some refinements but consider Greece as the future of these systems. Not to mention the demographic shift is going to completely change their structures....once the majority changes, they'll have to go to the Mosque to get their social benefits.

Research, Communism, Fascism and the Progressive Era, to see where it all originated.
Before WW-1, the move toward socialism was in full trot, in the civilized world. The only nation that could not implement it fully, was the USA. Where the US Constitution, forbid the Federal Government from controlling the people. For socialism to work, the Constitution had to be destroyed and the government had to have the ability to tax the people directly, to punish those that rebelled and to pay for the massive control they were going to take on.. That is exactly what they did.

The Civil War, proved that the Federal Government was indeed more powerful than WE THE PEOPLE.
The US Constitution wasn't going to stand in their way this time, either.
