The models never work:

"For example, he said, on Saturday the Rocky Fire grew by 22,000 acres, a plot of land that computer models indicated would take about a week to burn. But that plot was consumed in five hours."

Forest fires rely on fuel and wind to burn, only the fuel can be controlled. Ask and forest firefighter and they will tell you how unpredictable a forest fire can be which is why even the best ones are always at risk of losing their lives.

You're right, the global warming models would have to be far more complex.

I mean, if they cannot even model a forest fire, how could they model the rise and fall of massive continental rivers to within a few inches of their flood stage? Oh, wait, that's right, they can.

There's a fallacy for you're trying to do. It's called false equivalence...

The Earth's climate has been changing for 4 1/2 BILLION years. I don't understand why folks seem to think that it should be static now! It's not...it will never be...and there's nothing we puny humans can (or should) do about it!

We will adapt...or become extinct.

I can't help but think all the pollutants humans have brought to this earth has accelerated it's demise. And yet we are so flippant about it. We have absolutely no respect for this planet. Maybe us puny humans can start with that. But, honestly I think it's too late.

And before god breathed life into dirt to make man, we were dirt. Don't let me stop you from crawling back into the ground.
