The comparison is meaningless. There are too many Republicans in the race to create any meaningful comparison. Dems better find another front runner, or they are toast. Personally, I like the two parties take turns, so a Republican president is fine by me. The problem arises when one party controls House, Senate and WH, which could be the case in 2016.

And now GOP, high on political correctness, disinvited Trump from a GOP event because Trump is too politically incorrect for them.

Intentional, or unintentional, Trump is exposing a lot or hypocrisy and bias with FOX and the GOP in general.
If you think it is political correctness that says you shouldn't call women pigs and other nasty things....congratulations, YOU are the problem.

Blind people,

Fox went after Trump because they know he may be running as a third party, and they want to be sure he has very little support from the Republican Party. The Red State disinvite was designed to show that Donald is not a Republican and deserves no support from anyone identifying themselves as a Republican.

Fox asked "tough" question designed to eliminate other foes before they cannot do irreparable damage to their brand.

Please do not act as if Fox News is tough on their guys. They wen after Christie, Kaisach (spelling), Jeb, and Trump because those guys are not extremists. Donald is full of it and they know it.

The Ohio Gov. has a heart, thus he is done as far as the base is concerned. Jeb doesn't hate immigrants....good night for him. Chrisite doesn't want to privatize SS, sorry Chris. Donald has too big of a following!!

That's the Jeb Bush question. Jeb doesn't have the right answers to the questions and he's not exactly knocking people dead on the campaign trail so they are trying to push that he's "presidential." That's the line they're pushing with no-experience Rubio, too.

Well go ahead and vote for yet another "presidential" looking candidate but don't complain when you get the same-old, same-old running the country.

Donald Trump didn't have the right answer about giving money to Democrats. His advisors didn't do right by him or he would have been armed to mention businessman Rupert Murdoch threw a fundraiser for Hillary Clinton when she ran in 2008...oh yes, he did! That would have shut Kelly up. It's what business people do.

You can google it. Try Murdoch Clinton fundraiser as your search terms

The moderators also seemed to forget about the award Jeb Bush gave to Hillary Clinton in 2013.

“'Former Secretary Clinton has dedicated her life to serving and engaging people across the world in democracy,' Bush said in a statement. 'These efforts as a citizen, an activist, and a leader have earned Secretary Clinton this year’s Liberty Medal.'â€

Jeb Bush to Award Hillary 'Liberty Medal' on Eve of Benghazi Anniversary - Breitbart

I'm pretty sure that's going to show up on a general election Clinton campaign ad if the 2 of them are candidates. "See even my opponent thinks I'm wonderful" is what I will bet it will say.

It's all political incest.

Looks like it. Guess America is moving towards one party rule. This country is becoming more like China.

What is interesting to me is that most Democrats and liberals do not appear to feel the same way. They seem to be all about making excuses for their people and promoting narratives that effectively serve as coverups for their preferred candidates weaknesses and shortcomings. They do not seem to want to have their candidates pressed on the most important issues of the day.

Fox News has set the standard here. Now we will see if the other media venues that hold debates - pretty much all of which lean left - will even try to do as well.
As a leftie, I agree with much of what you said here. However, it baffles me that anyone could consider gay marriage, and who talks to God the most pressing issues of our time.

Because a consumption based tax would have to be absurdly high to provide the same revenues to the governments.

A progressive based tax system is better in every conceivable way really.

That seems hard to believe. Hillary is leading against any Democrat with at least 30 points. Let's face it if there is the choice between Hillary and a Republican candidate even the most socialist/communist democrat will vote for the lesser of the two evils in their mind.

What I found interesting is that most of the candidates still came out looking good. Even Rick Perry! (except for his slip when he said there were US troops in Iran)
