But no they aren't zealots like in Iran. They just want to bomb bomb bomb Iran. Zealotry in its own unique way though.
Obama wanted to bomb Syria....until the far left convinced him otherwise.

Were the republicans against the deal, even before it happened? Are the Iranian hardliners against the deal?
Seems to be oranges and oranges.

I voted for Obama both elections and was set on voting for Clinton or Sanders, until Trump. With that being said, I think this is a bad deal. It could have been fine if there was a trial period where inspectors could first do a thorough check to make sure everything is in check. Right now, Iran could be moving the facility into a secret location and would soon start receiving billions in new revenue to fund the development and their military. It would give them a lot more leverage. Countries like Russia, we don't have much leverage at all because they are so powerful. We better think twice before giving Iran the chance on becoming powerful. It's no secret the government hates America and is still defiant even after the deal.

The far left is noticeably and hypocritically quiet when Obama behaves just like Bush

Obama doesn't bomb Syria for two reasons.
  • The Brits won't let David Cameron do the same. Thus Obama loses his political cover that he is part of a "coalition".
  • The Russians - Syria is their ally and have told Obama in no uncertain terms that American pilots will be shot down if he tries. Obama doesn't care about pilots, but does care about the politics of bombin yet another Arab country should it go really bad.

the winds have changed , iran is no longer viewed as the biggest threat in the middle east , ISIS have taken that crown , iran will be useful when it comes to defeating sunni extremism , Saudi Arabia are as much opposed to this deal as Israel

as for schumer , I suspect those who say his opposing it is pure optics are right , difficult for a jew to support anything which Israel so vehemently disagrees with

The scud missiles came from Iraq. People in power like Schumer made sure that we neutralized those scuds by spreading lies about yellow cake and WMDs. Do what you can to make peace with the Arabs. How many Americans must die to secure Israel?

Like most all Pols, Schumer knows where his "political bread" is buttered.
