So we've had a black president - a two-termer in fact. When will it happen again? My guess is that it won't happen again in our lifetimes. Why? Because America is still racist. What's your prediction?

When I have the right to disagree with a black president then I'll have a listen.

Good grief, every inane thought that tumbleweeds through the barren wasteland of your headspace does not need to be turned into a forum post.

Can't you just go tweet it out to your 12 simple-minded followers?

Tripe.

The only reason it happened this time is because our country is racist.

Haven't you been reading the posts on CD forums, as well as listening to Fox, listening to AM or reading blogs written by crazy guys in underwear? Let's just say that freedom of speech in this country is alive and well.

So he/she'd be different than past white Republican presidents, like it wouldn't be 'you're either with us or against us' anymore?

Exactly.

Although I would put Condi Rice as number one, Ben Carson would be a very viable choice, and while right now I'm thinking there is an outstanding field of candidates on the Republican side, if Carson makes headway during the primaries, or even wins them, I would have no problem supporting him.
Herman Cain was a good businessman that could have really straightened out the economy, and I was a supporter of his until he withdrew in 2012.

It isn't the color of the candidate, it's how their mind works and their qualifications.

Obama simply wasn't qualified. He's proved that over and over. It isn't the fact he's 1/2 black that's the issue, he's simply completely out of his depth and a pathalogical lier as well as the fact his distain for this country that are why lots of American's have no use for him.

How long until we get another black or 1/2 black president will depend entirely on the individual that's running.
Yes, we may have learned to look beyond simply the "first black president" thing and actually demand a qualified candidate, but for a lot of obama's base, that was never a requirement in the first place.
