How about have a couple of security guards escort them off the stage, as would be the expected course of action at any other venue that was not a Democratic political event that was rudely imposed on by a few obnoxious black people.
Clearly he didn't have security. It's not exactly cheap to hire a bunch of guys to jump in front of a bullet for you.

I saw the exchange. They didn't have proper security and not enough separation between the podium and crowd to stop them before they hopped on.

But how can you host such a major event and not have even one security person. I was seriously considering voting for him but not anymore. He's just too weak. Same goes for Martin O'Malley. I can't vote for Hillary because she's just too shady. I'm hoping Biden enters the race. He may be a bit creepy but he seems like a genuine guy without a baggage of scandals.

He doesn't have to assault the women. He could have just held on to the mic and repeatedly told them to get off the stage. If they then attacked him they would have looked like the monsters abusing an old man. Standing by listening to them go on and on as if it were their event was so pathetic.

He's 80 years old. He probably doesn't want to open the possibility of being attacked by two young healthy people. There's a difference between risking being bashed into a coma and doing what's best for the country in the job he's prepared to uphold, where immediate physical harm will be much lower (since he'll be much better sheltered from the wackos).
