You are kinda misinformed....however....the fact is that Carter wanted the mission to continue and asked Chargin' Charlie Beckwith if he could proceed with the rescue attempt after the helicopters' malfunction. Beckwith refused, which was probably the smart thing to do, and hightailed his crippled squad out of there. Unfortunately, a couple of the copters collided in the desert and the debacle was cemented.

Here's an account of the aftermath. Beckwith was responsible for the pull-out, not Carter. In reality, it was neither man's fault. Sometimes, even with meticulous planning, bad things happen.

Eventually though, Carter did negotiate and get the hostages out. Not a single hostage died. In a last bit of spite, Iran didn't actually release the hostages until after Reagan was inaugurated. Carter still led an envoy to greet the hostages when they were safely out of Iran.

All my best to President Jimmy Carter.

Hope his family can deal with it.

Human being and old age just don't go too well together.

EDIT: I just looked at the tweet in question. Nothing about cancer even mentioned.
If Fox News retweeted it, then they ARE associated with what was said. Another example is Spike Lee. He retweeted the address of a family that had the same last name as the guy that murdered Trayvon Martin. He got into a lot of trouble for that (rightfully so) and had to pay damages to that family.

IF this is true, they should die a slow and excruciating painful death, maybe have someone rip out each finger nail with pliers then cut off each finger with bolt cutters then let them lie there and bleed out.

They are two obscure conservatives who think if they say something rather outrageous it will make them stand out.

Surely you jest. If you read, the FOX bashing is clearly done exclusively by the supporters of Mr. Trump, primarily for asking unfair questions via Megyn Kelly at the debate. The same folks also are attacking Charles Krauthammer, George Will, Erick Erickson and other conservatives. Liberals are having a ball watching all of this unfold, though some are in mourning because of Hillary.
