Jimmy Carter is a good human being who has spent much of his life devoted to good causes. Johnson was a good President reflected in almost all empirical measures (employment, debt etc..).

Dubya is probably the worst of recent times, and one of the worst of all time. I would happily take Jimmy Carter over Bush for a plethora of reasons.

Carter is a classy individual. I wish him well.

How so "at our expense?"

Should we have bombed Iran? Nuked it? Boots on the ground?

This country does not have to be at war all of the time. Since the Bush admin, people have come to accept it like it is normal to have one or more wars going. I would love to have a Carter back.

Now is not the time, and many of us will refrain from offering an honest opinion of his presidency. Clearly, you're looking for only hearts and flowers, so you can take your phony (and self-serving) indignation, and stuff it.
Couldn't agree more.

Nope. This country was rocking and we were save. The Housing collapse can be placed on Democrats who protected and lied to a President,

Fanny Mae and Mac , Franklin Raines, Dodd, Waters ring a bell?

For all the people that didn't experience the Carter 'misery index', it was bad times.

For those of us who were living in this country even as youngsters, he was a truly awful leader. Carter was always a decent, honest, even likable man.

Two very different strengths.

...and Reagan let some 20,000 folks die of AIDS. What's your point?
(my mistake, you have no point. Just a sad, myopic understanding of the meaning of human compassion and what service to your fellow man stands for)
Here, I'll make it easy for you to offer a rebuttal about how liberals and democrats are really the one's who are intolerant:
Go die in a fire.

Ciao baby.

Let me guess, you're voting for Hillary while lecturing others about integrity?
I'm a Democrat. But let's see -- hostage crisis debacle, gas lines, and the economy (and let's not forget the aggressive swimming rabbit). One of the worst presidents...perhaps a tie for George Bush (II). But, at least Carter was the greatest EX president.
