you pick.
I understand you're trying to rewrite history by suggesting the governor of California came up with the idea.

Here is a FYI... Asians care about the present and don't dwell on the past. And currently, Democrats are much more welcoming to Asians and minorities in general.

Asians vote Democrat. It is due to Democrat policies that gave these Asians (and everyone else who choose to) the opportunity to succeed in America.

America became the "land of opportunity" due to the policies created by the Democrats. If it were up to Republicans, they would build walls. And shoot everyone who looked different.

Asians take advantage of the Education, Grants and other Social Programs provided by the Democrats.

The "land of opportunity" was the de facto result of laissez faire, small gov't. That's what was attractive to immigrants who fled hyper-state.

Regardless of how many opportunities were available in the U.S., non-whites were virtually banned from immigrating here until the 1965 Hart-Cellar Act. Cellar and Hart were both Democrats and the bill was pushed by Ted Kennedy. The Chinese were specifically excluded from the 1880's until WW2 since they were our allies.

I find it fascinating that there was such a dramatic shift in Asian voting pattern between 2012 & 2014...pretty much the definition of voters up for grabs. We'll have to see which way they vote in 2016 to see if there is a real shift to Republicans.

OP, since this thread blew up in your face on the very first post, may I suggest a new one? Can Republicans ever hope to attract the angry old white man vote?
