Like leftists have historically done the world over, for at least a century?
Are you seriously thinking that they are going to consider something that happened 70 years ago as a reason not to vote for a party?

Don't try to rescue the OP.

Appalachia tends to vote Republican.

Disability, TANF and SNAP drive local economies is some counties, cross states.

Seems more folk everywhere are trending away from party affiliation and self identify as Independents.

Guess as a group, Asians tend to take personal responsibility and a majority vote Democrat.

Same deal with the Jewish population.

Ding ding ding ... here it is. The Republican Party is alienating entire swaths of the population with their bible thumping social conservatism, promotion of paranoia and conspiracy theories, and outright nativism and bigotry. We see the same thing with Puerto Ricans who identify as conservative but tend to vote Democrat. Gee I can't imagine why.

We need to change, period. We need to end the rural Southern/Western centrism and focus on the larger nation.

Actually, I would be curious to know how Indians vote, many I know are quite conservative. But from what I understand the thread topic is discussing East Asian, such as Chinese, Korean, and Japanese.
The Indians I know (including my parents) have conservatives views but don't care for the racist baggage and buffoonery the GOP brings with it.

Way too late.

Asian Americans lean heavily Democratic.

"Asian Americans—the fastest growing ethnic group in the country—more likely to identify themselves as Democrats than Republicans, and by stunning margins. In the 2012 presidential election, Barack Obama won 73 percent of the Asian American vote"

Why Are Asian Americans Democrats? - Alexander Kuo and Neil Malhotra and Cecilia Hyunjung Mo - POLITICO Magazine

It's back to the drawing board with you.

Asians will eventually become republicans. Because They are or will be pretty rich. Their Skin Complexion is mostly Lighter
so they will feel more comfortable with Republicans.
