We are NOT giving Iran $150bn! nor are they the no1 sponsors of "terror"!! This is not "Obama's deal" - the next 5 most powerful countries were also part of the process (none of which are having these hair brained ignorant discussions).
You may not like the deal, and a lot of people don't. But there is no preferable alternative. There is no "deal bad X good" argument to be made. Geez.
The 5 most powerful countries in the world did absolutely nothing when the IAEA and Iran made a closed door deal giving Iran the power to collect and report its own evidence in its secret nuclear site Parchin without foreign inspection oversight.
But I do love repeating myself to those who refuse to accept new facts on the ground.. And maybe not lifting sanctions to give an enemy state 150 billion dollars in reward for past transgressions, with no secure adequate inspection mechanism to detect Iranian violations was not the best deal on the table.
P.S. Your denial of Iranian terror sponsoring is truly comical and shows the lack of knowledge of the subject you pretend to boast.

Awesome. You present incorrect facts (150bn dollars, and Iran collecting its own evidence at a nuclear site, which it is not) and then present NO viable alternative, as usual.
The Euros don't have functioning armed forces anymore because they gutted the military to pay for the cradle to the grave welfare handouts. Putin could go all the way to Paris if he wanted without facing any serious resistance. It's hard to believe that just 70 years ago even the tiny little Netherlands was capable of large scale overseas operations.
What are you talking about? You have completely discounted influence through economic power, and resorted to suggesting that its all about military power THAT is exactly the problem with past US policy in the world outside our borders.
"Iran has refused access to Parchin for years and has denied any interest in — or work on — nuclear weapons. Based on U.S., Israeli and other intelligence and its own research, the IAEA suspects that the Islamic Republic may have experimented with high-explosive detonators for nuclear arms.
The IAEA has cited evidence, based on satellite images, of possible attempts to sanitize the site since the alleged work stopped more than a decade ago.
Iran is to provide agency experts with photos and videos of locations the IAEA says are linked to the alleged weapons work, "taking into account military concerns."
That wording suggests that — beyond being barred from physically visiting the site — the agency won't get photo or video information from areas Iran says are off-limits because they have military significance."
So, for what reason should we lift sanctions so 150 billion dollars can flow to Iranian's proxy's through out the Middle East? How do we guarantee Iranian transgressions of the deal if Iran themselves are providing the "evidence"?
Huh, the fox guarding the henhouse.
That's always smart. But then who said Obama and the UN was smart?
I thought it was a mistake when I read the headline; more if you like your insurance type lies. The alternative is to remain as it is now with sanctions liberals support so much and not agree to the so called deal then why expect anything but more funding for terrorist by leading funder of terrorism; plain and simple. Iran's leadership is already calling west fools in public statements.

Except that the "as is now" situation is not an option. The current sanction structure will fall apart without the deal. This is a point you are unaware of?

It should be noted to the highest degree that the IAEA has made this special agreement with Iran without the United States or its fickle European partners consent. So now we have established that Iran will provide its own reports to the West about its secret closed military site and that foreign inspectors cannot bare entry to determine Iranian violations... I otooh would like to know how the U.S and the West can determine and criminalize Iranian transgressions without full transparency and surprise inspections? The only alternative is to legitimize Irans nuclear program a decade later and release a combined 150 billion dollars of sanctions release to an enemy state?
