Cool, yeah. If your daughter is lucky, she will get raped, too! Maybe even gang-raped by the whole football team (college).

Hell, at 15, I was actively trying to sleep with two of my teachers! My history teacher, who was a former college cheerleader at Tennessee, and my computer teacher, a former college volleyball player at UGA! It most certainly would not have been rape. I was making some headway with the history teacher (probably not, but I was in my mind!), then I met the woman I ended up marrying and gave up the chase.

I also know of 4 people, 2 girls, 2 boys, that were sleeping with teachers while I was in high school. It was not rape, as they wanted it just as badly, or more so, than the teachers. People in authority should know better of course, but to put someone in jail over sleeping with a 15-16 year old is crazy. Unless it was not consensual of course.

I do agree however, that sentences are not dealt out the same for men and women in these situations. I think there is a simple answer as to why though. We, as a society, think we need to "protect" young girls more so than young boys. Is that right or wrong? I don't know. The world seems to be more dangerous for young girls, so maybe it should be that way....
