I can assure you that Ms Natalie is very much a real person. We disagree on a great deal of issues, but I have known her for a long time and she is very real.
Ok, let's say I'm elderly, although they didn't say her age so what exactly is elderly. But whatever. So I'm in my bedroom when 2 people break in with knives. If they had guns instead she would never have been able to get to her gun. That is my point. And evidently she knew her fate when she said they wanted to rape her.
How do you know? Breaking into a house can be a noisy event waking her up to retrieve her gun prior to anyone entering her room regardless if the suspects were armed with a firearm or not.
They could have just as easily had a gun.....then what?
They may both be dead...that's what....

But they did not, so whats the difference?

You sure fooled all of us with these answers....seems you would be a pretty devout liberal....
It also seems that you are for the robbers and not the lady....
I really wish we could provide more education to prevent stuff like this...
I would have first shot the big, burly one, a little south of center mass. Then I would have tortured the little scrawny one for hours. Make him beg for me to call 911 to save his sorry ass.
