All of these problems just have an effect on the other. When there is no adequate employment it's much harder to make a living, making it harder to build a family, save money and others.
So go ahead and keep supporting illegal immigration and watch the problem get worse and worse while it gets cheered on by the illegal lovers.
Really, if you look at the data on US homicide rates, they doubled from 1960 to 1970. There has not been a constant rate of black homicides, but a fluctuating rate. My theory is that the Vietnam war era and a host of other movements in the 60's increased violence.
The 60's was an era of war and rebellion. It was an era of radical changes in America....and war. The system was under threat and pressure from the anti-war movement and the civil rights community and black militancy. The FBI director, J Edgar Hoover, as a result, proclaimed black militancy the number one threat to the internal security of the United States and COINTELPRO was put into place.
After that...drugs and guns flooded black communities and blacks stopped fighting the system and started killing each other. Some might call it coincidence....and some my call it a conspiracy, but it is a fact that it was not until the late 60's that black homicide rated took a crazy jump up. Then they started to drop in the 80's as heroin usage faded....then crack cocaine exploded into the black community and murder rates reached heights never seen before

I can't believe the racist old white farts on here would like to chalk up violence in black inner city areas to genetics when most of these crusty ancient white people are old enough to remember when they lived in integrated city neighborhoods with black people with little serious violence prior to the riots of the 60's. High levels of violence in black inner city neighborhoods is tied to federally funded population control and social engineering. Poor black people in the hood often don't have enough money for weekly groceries, yet cocaine from Colombia and AK-47's from Russia and China are easier to find than an ATM machine in black inner city areas across America. Black people in the hood don't have planes and boats to get all of these toxic things from overseas. In many inner city areas in America, it is much easier to buy alcohol or drugs than fresh produce. Alcohol intoxication is tied to violent crime and there is a liquor store on every other corner in the ghetto. Uncle Sam gives people in the hood just enough money to get drunk or high every two weeks. It's like locking people in a house with little food but a constant supply of drugs and alcohol. It's not going to be pretty.
Most poor white areas are not flooded with foreign heroin, cocaine and illegal firearms unlike black inner city areas. Due to the legacy of white flight, deindustrialization and lack of opportunity in black inner city areas, there is often little other options to make good money outside of the illegal drug game established by Uncle Sam. When thousands of dollars are at stake in the drug game, it breeds a cutthroat world on the street where everyone is trying to eat and 17 year old high school dropouts fantasize about the high rolling big-time drug dealer lifestyle of fast luxury cars, the most expensive clothes, beautiful women, big houses and endless money. The culture of foreign grown hard drugs and welfare creates a cold environment where black fathers aren't needed, mothers often become addicts and neglect their children. This causes children to become cold and do whatever they need to survive. This was the story of Robert Yummy Sandifer in the 90's. Sandifer was an 11 year old contract killer for the Black Disciples in Chicago who was gunned down as a result of his hard upbringing, lack of familial support and the rampant gang lifestyle of his native Southside Chicago.
I live outside of Baltimore city which is one of the most pronounced examples of the effects of white flight, deindustrialization, black ghettoization and the drug game easily is the largest employer of Baltimore city residents. The only reason nearby DC and it's wealthier suburbs are comparatively more affluent than Baltimore is because of the plethora of well-paying federal government jobs in the DC area.

People REALLY need to watch that video. It shows that what is going on today is simply a carryover from the past. However, as they say, those who forget (or don't know) the past are destined to repeat it. That is going on today. A lot of ignorant white folks do not realize that they are just like those ignorant people in the past....making the SAME arguments....just avoiding the racial epithets and language that would clearly define them as racist.
Why is everyone so stat driven.. I can tell you anything that I and a large group of people have seen or experienced as a whole and still, people will argue and ask for stats.

you are using entire populations. that doesn't work.
we are talking about POOR whites and blacks. not entire black and white populations.
unless you can provide some information about the economic conditions of the various groups, please stop rehashing irrelevant stats.
