There seems to be a problem on this site with peoples reading... This isn't a first.
Purposely misinterpreting what people say and the context in which they said it is a lazy and sometimes politically partisan tactic by some people to make their ignorant positions on the issues look relevant, so I'm used to it. I just like to give people the benefit of the doubt, before I dismiss them.
If they come for my neighbors first.... Next they will come for me. So what happens when somebody comes for your neighbors Mexican illegal immigrant wife and kids ? You think he won't defend his wife and children to the death? You think illegals don't join or have family in the military? If they come for them there are plenty in this country that will defend them

Should we stop arresting people who are wanted for things like burglaries, assaults, car thefts, etc for fear that maybe one day YOUR arrested for one?
I guess since I'm not a liberal, I'm smart enough to obtain an ID; therefore, if I'm ever arrested, I can show my ID and they'll immediately know that I'm a citizen.
Nazis want to ban guns so as long as we have guns we won't have to be afraid of these Nazis you seem so paranoid about. But you don't seem to know what a Nazi is, OP. You have to understand that we've hit rock bottom politically and now ANYBODY seems capable of doing a better job than the creatures that currently sit in office.
Sometimes I feel like we're electing the class president and the candidates are promising stuff like "free french fries!" (ie, a living wage) and "no more homework!" (ie, tax cuts) with absolutely no idea of how they would accomplish such things. But that doesnt even matter because the "students" are gonna elect the most popular kid anyways. (i.e, Reagan #2)
