When e-verify kicks in , many illegals will not be able to work here. If those who hire illegals are fined, they will hire American workers who need jobs.. I saw three dump trucks in NJ driven by illegals and they were women. Why do they hire illegal women to drive dump trucks? The lower pay grade for the illegals because they also get welfare benefits paid for by the American taxpayer. They can work cheaper because Americans don't qualify to work under the table and collect welfare nor do they want to.
How long before Donald Trump feels the fork implanted in his belly that's now obvious to everyone else due to David Duke's recent declared love of his policies. Well, to be fair, our immigrant worker laws need to be updated. Farmers who use our legal system to bring in migrant labor to harvest crops run up against a slow, ponderous, inefficient bureaucracy, that serves neither the farmers or the workers.
Farmers crops often rot in the fields before the workers are allowed in, or they arrive too early and the sit around while the farmer feeds and cares for them for an extended period of time, and the workers might violate their visa to just go to another farm to harvest a crop that is ready.
The migrant workers and farmers not burdened by an ineffective bureaucratic system end up serving each others interests better. The migrants know where the work is and show up just in time to harvest and leave exactly on time. Combined with all the other incentives for violating our immigration laws, it makes our laws undesirable to follow.
I'm not trying to justify their violations of our laws, just pointing out that the migrant worker laws desperately need to be reformed.
Comprehensive immigration reform would be, increased border security, increased law enforcement, elimination of sanctuary cities, and reform of our migrant worker laws, and defines once an for all who is and who is not a US citizen at birth.

The farmers have been taking it up with the politicians, but you know the only reform they want is amnesty, and more illegal immigration.
A migrant worker who visits, works, and leaves when his visa expires is not going to be a democrat voter. An illegal who comes and stays, gets a driver's license, etc... is a welcomed voter for the dems.

You don't know Who can or cannot receive benefits, you don't know who is able to vote in this country. Everything you ask for..........except immediate deportation for every one. You desperately want to punish these people by taking away everything they have and everything in their future they ever will have. For no other reason than hate and bigotry.

You think Europe is in bad shape with all the refugees flooding the area? That will be a drop in the bucket compared to the global mess we create by rounding up 11-15 million human souls and shipping them back to a place that most of them are totally unfamiliar with.

Securing financing from private investors and using your own money to purchase land, hiring an architect and general contractor to erect a building are light years away from getting appropriations through Congress, and dealing with the fact that there is absolutely no way other than destroying the Bill of Rights to negate the due process clause which enables even an illegal immigrant to appeal their deportation. And that is before we start... I hate to say this...gestapo like raids throughout the country to ferret out illegal aliens in every community, and that is granting the fact that such raids would encourage a large number of illegals to just leave the country.

I'd agree but, "illegal alien" ain't a race. ALL of their kind need to go; even red headed Irishman. Not just Spanish speaking Indians from LatAm.
Germany HAD to take in about 10 million people of German family from Poland, Hungary and so on after WW 2 AND Germany was 1 f'd up country 70 years ago with its cities flattened. Today it's doing VERY well. Are you saying that Mexico is so weak and inferior they can't take about half the number of people that Germany did? It sure sounds that way.
