really? the last time that happened in america was early in world war two, so i guess yes that evil republican conservative president in 1942 really did like rounding people up and putting them behind fences.

You mean like immigration laws?

Exactly. Which is why we must deport all illegals as the law states that we should.

"This would all be merely ridiculous if it weren’t morally obscene. Forcibly evict 11*million people from their homes? It can’t happen. It shouldn’t happen. And, of course, it won’t ever happen. But because it’s the view of the Republican front-runner, every other candidate is nowrequired to react. So instead of debating border security, guest-worker programs and sanctuary cities — where Republicans are on firm moral and political ground — they are*forced into a debate*about a repulsive fantasy."

Charles and other consevatives also think "rounding them up" is immoral, so I agree with both Charles and Bernie on this part.

We are Americans and can accomplish a massive deportation of illegals. It's not a big logistical matter due to excellent transportation system and more than adequate number of buses, trains and planes.

Precisely. Kid stood a better chance with his father than that loony cousin anyway.

Bernie: (earlier)

"We can't have all this immigration. I don't support it. It hurts jobs and wages for poor, unskilled Americans. It's the evil Republican Koch Brothers who want it for cheap labor."

Bernie: (later)

"We can't deport illegal immigrants. That would be racist. My God -- cattle cars! Just like the Nazis!"

Typical politician double-speak.

From what I've read, Bernie does not support open borders. He wants Americans to be employed.

That said, the law also informs us that employers should not hire undocumented. The trouble comes from no one yet has seriously enforced it. It is not an employers duty to determine citizenship. But, somehow, the illegals are hired and paid in cash.

My question has always been, do we expect the illegals we hire to remain single and celibate?

Our penance for never enforcing the law against hiring illegals, is to absorb their kids. Seal the border.

The law is the law, if you came to this country illegally and broke the law then you need to face consequences. This is why our country is out of control, no morals or consequences. Go back home and apply for citizenship just like many others have and are doing, very simple.

It is not the duty of americans to suffer because ones country does not want to operate like a country.
