Little do people realize what is really going on. To get a visa and possible citizenship long term wealthy Chinese businessmen are investing in startups or manufacturing which produce jobs in the United States, if the jobs are sustainable than it is much easier for them to come to the United States.
It's more complicated than that. Chinese companies are building factories here for the same reasons that US companies build factories in China. It's easier to participate in a market if you locate yourself within that market.
China recently started taxing China multinationals on world wide profits, the same as the US.

What's the beef? The Japanese have had auto plants here for years. Just one plant where I previously lived in Ohio employs over 7,000 locals who make decent middle class wages.
Not uncommon. Many Chinese firms set up shop in the US, for all sorts of reasons. A popular reason is to avoid customers who insist on avoiding goods made in China, due to reputation for poor quality. So, they build a plant here and slap a made in USA sticker on everything coming out the door.

Good luck competing against that.
There will always be some domestic manufacturing done in the US. Shortage of localized skilled labor in the US will be a bigger problem than shortage of slave wage nations to be exploited by US corporations. It's not always easy getting something made in the US, since we lost so much of the infrastructure, supply chains and workers. People don't train for careers that have no perceived future.

Then what's keeping China and so on from doing that in India? China's already priced itself out with more of its working age people dying than being born.

Doing "what" in India?
Building plants? China has factories in India, as does the US. However, those factories are mostly related to 1st Level Economic Activity and not the 2nd Level Economy.
I would think China will continue to invest where they sell products. They will also export people to work in those factories eventually due to the excessive number of people in China without a job.
This company set up their plant in US because of tariff.

You are exactly wrong.
The key driver is still cost.
As long as US impose anti-competition tariff on Chinese goods, they have to set up their plant in America. This is exactly what Trump wanted.
For "Made in China" quality, this is a lame line. You got what you paid for, period.
True, now just remember that when you vote in the primaries and Hillary is telling you about how she will help the American worker.
No one will be helping the American worker at this point, and if they actually would, the American people wouldn't vote for him/her.
That train left the station a long time ago.
