Interracial marriage has nothing to do with religion.
Since when was she forced to issue a license for gay marriage? Ignore that, you ignore her cause. Ignore her cause then you have no basis for your comments.
You apparently know nothing about the the Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia.
The very foundation and backbone of the argument used against legalizing the marriage of a white person to a black person was based on religious objections. Christian scriptures were cited in the Supreme Court in defense of maintaining the state of Virginia's "anti-miscegenation" law.
We talked about what a bigot is before. Since you know very well that what you are saying is not true, that makes you a liar. But since you are a leftist, you may even think that is a good thing.
Do you support all religious objections or just Christian ones?
By advocating for religious objections in legal proceedings you are advocating for all religions.
Do you really want our country to go down that path?
You do realise the legislature cannot treat Christian objections and differently than Muslim objections.
Are you really for the Islamic fundamentalists at the DMV that won't help your mother because he can see her face?
The republican religious right scares me as much as the muslim militants. They will do whatever they must do under God's command. And in that sense they are identical to the Isis folks. The only difference is that one is Christian and the other Muslim.
What an absurd law. I wonder which states and what reasons they have? Some have a waiting period as far as how long you've lived there. Why are there all these rules in place just because two people who love one another want to get married?
Government owns you, and your marriage.
Bow down mundane and do as you're told.
I don't know. But I suspect the law originally had to do something to do with the same fears that inspired the Mann Act (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mann_Act) and was intended to make sure that under-age girls were getting married of their own free will and with their parent's consent.

You apparently know nothing about MEANING of the Supreme Court case Loving v. Virginia. Where in the bible does the discrimination get promoted. Guess it depends on who interprets huh?
