What the hell are you talking about "two burly dudes going at it in the middle of the street?". Have you ever met any gay people? I've met tons. I would expect to see them going at it in the middle of the street just as much as I would straight people. They're real living PEOPLE just like you and me. They have families and jobs and friends and hopes and dreams. Just like you and me. They're aren't just some sexuality. They're people. You're acting like they're some crazy "movement" or something. They didn't form as some group, there isn't an association.

Bodily mutilation expressing your individuality? What does that have to do with gay people?

The woman went to jail for not doing her job. Who cares what she belives in. If she doesn't believe in the laws of our society and our govenment then don't get a job to uphold those laws and that government. It's very very simple.
Dude, wake up, it's not even about gay people. It's happening before our eyes but many are not realizing it. Many Americans ( read most and some on the forum ) are akin to the proverbial frog who was initially put into a pot of cold water. This is the slippery slope people are laughed at for believing. Won't bake a cake? Lose your business. Won't hold a wedding? Lose your church. Won't license a marriage? Go to jail.

And "The law is the law" is a quaint notion that doesn't exist in America anymore in the first place. We have mayors and governors actively defying federal immigration law and getting away with it because the media agrees with their position. Same with federal drug laws. Hillary Clinton broke her oath hundreds of thousands of times over a four year period six years ago, and they still haven't gotten around to actually going through the entire server. This woman denies to marriage licenses over a two week period, and she is in jail. This country is twisted.

According to your own logic, Barack Obama lied, he is not obeying the law, and he should resign. And indeed he should.
It is only okay if a Liberal breaks the law.

This was offered as a compromise, Davis again refused to allow her staff to issue the licenses so she was sent back to jail. Since she is in jail, the Deputy Clerks will become acting clerks and will issue the licenses.

It's not about getting what you want. The revolution was about the rights of the individual.

Says who? Not Thomas Jefferson - The tree of liberty must be refreshed from time to time with the blood of patriots and tyrants

That is complete and total B.S., as we have seen illustrated by these homo-fascist, leftist thugs time and again now.

As everyone may recall, as it was just a few months ago, there was a gang of leftists thugs who conspired together across state lines to terrorize the owner of Memories Pizza and his family in Indiana for responding to an interview question by a liberal journalist who was searching for a Christian merchant for their group to harass. The question was whether Memories Pizza would cater pizza for a homosexual wedding. They have never been asked to cater pizza for a wedding, mind you, and it is unlikely that they ever would be.

These liberal, homo-fascist thugs threatened these people's lives, threatened to burn down their store, made harassing phone calls and other threats, and conspired together to ruin the store's reputation online, ultimately resulting in the store being shut down and the owners fleeing in fear for their lives.

In fact, the woman who was interviewed made it clear in the same interview that they were happy to serve homosexuals in her store during the ordinary course of business and did so regularly. Clearly, they were not discriminating against homosexuals because of their sexual orientation, they were opting out of associating themselves with a religiously offensive ceremony, which like it or not is something that is very different.

These people do not want to be just "tolerated," they want to force everyone to agree with them, or have their lives ruined for refusing to do so. Pull your head out. Seriously.

Ridiculous and ignorant observations. Ms. Davis' religion is none of your business, particularly considering the contempt in which your side holds people of faith.

You're absolutely right. It's nobody's business but her own.

Likewise, she shouldn't be pushing her believes on others.
