Then you have this ...
The Ice War Cometh? Russia makes play for Arctic, Obama seeks more Coast Guard icebreakers

Obama has already authorized oil companies to start drilling in the Arctic. What does this tell you about the bizarre warm weather patterns in the Arctic that melted the ice and made oil drilling possible? Is
weather wars at work also even though the 1976 Weather Weapon Treaty is still in force?
You hit the nail on the head....I believe. Right now we are in another Cold War with Russia because Russia and China have finally grown tired of Western Imperialism and the expansion of NATO to close to home. The US is trying to now punish Russia via creating a glut of oil in the market, which could be why we made the deal with Iran, which gets their oil back into the Market increasing supply and lowering prices. Russia, now, is escalating the tensions by getting its military directly involved in Syria.

Now we must await the US next move.....will we blink or escalate....I say its going to escalate and Putin will not back down from this either. Rising tension between US and Russia, centered in the stage of the Middle East, will not be good for the market especially when there is already talk of raising interest rates and issues with the Chinese economy, the Canadian economy and many European economies. It's going to be an interesting next 12 months......but in a bad way.

Russia has plenty of its own sins, but it is no ISIS. Thankfully, Putin understands the threats to the West and to his people and is the only one willing to do anything about it.

We will probably see others join in like Iran. Putin knows who is behind ISIS just like he knew who was behind the Ukraine regime change and bloodbath that followed. China is also starting to exercise it's military strength against the west. This is just the beginning but we will probably see major escalation.
