I am glad there is still someone who is willing to stand by his principles. Huckabee is right.

Trump is right. I'm surprised question has to be asked at this point.

Huckabee really believes it. A lot of candidates have to pander to the extreme religious right but people like Huckabee and Santorum aren't pandering. He and his supporters really believe that gay marriage is the greatest threat America is currently facing.

I agree THAT is what she should have said. But then we have people following up with calling Christians "Taliban", so you can see the room is short on rational thought.

The beauty of this country is that they both have the right to believe what they believe. Though at the rate we're going I'm not sure for how much longer.

But they aren't anti-gay marriage.
The entire population of the country has flip flopped on this issue in the last 10 years so big deal if the Repubs are lagging Dems by a few years, except Muslim and some Religious Dems of course. It has become law of the land because the majority decided it was ok for Gays to get married, nothing more. These guys or the next ones will have to be ok with it because the majority of the country is now behind it.

Guess 70% + of the country that describes themselves as Christian must be Taliban, including Gay Christians

Hmmm, exactly how *would* a president ban SSM?

The pledge talks about passing a constitutional amendment.

Not like that would happen.

Well, if Huckabee is so gung-ho about defending the Christians, I'm going to root for the Lions!
