The Judge also just issued a gag order for all parties and the jury. The question is if it covers the State's Attorney (Marilyn Mosby). She's usually one whom you don't want to stand in front of if there's a TV camera nearby.

You just don't get it. It's not the color of the cops skin, it's that the protesters/activists are anti cop. If Porter had been acquitted on all, or some, charges there would have been a very good chance of a riot.

Does it burn tonight or are we not gonna have any unrest now?
Do the other cops have an easier time now, especially if Porter is acquitted?
The prosecution probably threw everything they had during the first trial, so doubtful that they have anything more to add. The prosecution will probably use some of what had been discussed in the Porter trial against some or all of the remaining 5 cases, and were probably hoping to have guilty verdicts against Porter to throw in the pot too. (suck on that Mosby, it wasn't as slam dunk as you thought it would be!)
It may be moved from Baltimore. In fact all the remaining cases may have a good chance at a change of venue now.
Who knows what goes on in the minds of the protesters/activists. There will probably be some protesting, mild unrest but probably not a full on riot. If he'd been acquitted then no doubt there would have been a riot - the Baltimore Bloc (activist group) claims justice will only be served if Porter is convicted on all charges (basically a riot threat) The Baltimore Bloc is planning a demonstration at 5:30

So far protesting has been mainly peaceful. A few protesters blocked traffic from time to time but were herded back to the sidewalk by the cops. A couple of the protesters had been arrested. Protesters trying to block media from filming. Protesters doing the usual chanting - 'no justice no peace', 'black lives matter', a few cop hate chants, etc. Appears that a few protesters are leaving or have left but still quite a few out there (media guess is around 100 protesters). Many are now standing around seemingly trying to figure out what to do next (maybe they are getting bored?)

BTW~~ He has NOT gotten off..THERE was no verdict...Porter had a hand along with Goodson and all the other's in ending a life of someone, unlawfully detained, taken down..injured..abused post arrest..and dies..So with 6 officer's all had a hand in Freddie's death.....Involuntary Manslaughter does NOT mean Copper evil intent..but simply disregarded stand treatment expected ..

I disagree..I actually think they should have done 2 cases..the 3 prior to Van ride..( arresting officers) and the other 3 post arrest.. Because evidence surround each group can and could show just how group mentality hinges within that group...Wrongful arrest initiated this whole scenerio...

You are correct..But that only applies to those who actually live to get to trial, no?

How was it a wrongful arrest? Not only was the knife illegal under Baltimore Code, they have to go by Baltimore law not MD state law, but FG was also on probation and it was illegal for him to carry the knife.
I wonder who are more disappointed in the mistrial: Those of us who want justice or the supporters of thug cops? America is always condemning human rights in other countries but right here in the US, cops are permitted to kill minorities with impunity.
